Following up the spectacular success of POLSKA! YEAR in the UK and the
International Cultural Programme of the Polish EU Presidency, the Adam
Mickiewicz Institute – the institute responsible for the promotion of
Polish culture abroad – returns to the UK to take part in the Cultural
Olympiad, with POLSKA ARTS in EDINBURGH. In a hugely exciting and
ambitious move, the Institute will work with its British partners to
present the latest buzz in Polands cultural arts scene – in theatre,
visual arts, music, dance and film – to audiences attending Scotlands
largest yearly arts gathering. POLSKA ARTS runs in cooperation with
the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Art Festival, the Jazz and Blues
Festival and the Edinburgh International Festival.
4 festivals, 5 weeks, 10 venues, 13 performances, 18 concerts,
